Blake Lively on the Gossip Girl set

Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Ed Westwick were snapped up by the paparazzi on the set of Gossip Girl recently, donning some appropriate attire for the cold weather—both on and off set.

In one picture (seen after the jump), Meester is actually caught red-handed wearing Ugg boots! A Gossip Girl star wearing UGG BOOTS?! What on Earth was she (or her stylist) thinking? She ought to be fined.

Lively, on the other hand, rivals Emma Watson with her Burberry wear. Also, did Westwick and Lively cutely plan the motorcycle jackets together?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Spoilers,

Victoria BeckhamThe CW is pulling out all the stops to keep from falling to the ratings wayside. Now, Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) will be putting in a guest appearance.

Gossip has it that Blake Lively spoke with Beckham during the recent launch of her fashion collection. Apparently, the Brit is a fan of the show. According to an unnamed source, “Victoria isn’t an actress, and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek.” Sounds interesting…if you like .

If this doesn’t pull GG out of its slump, who knows what the show will do next?

Hilary Duff Fails to Score for Gossip Girl

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Ratings, Video,

Despite having Hilary Duff on the roster for a night, failed to deliver for the CW. The network has been getting low ratings for all its banner shows, a bad sign for the entire fall line-up. GG is one of the shows which helped drag the CW out of obscurity, but now it might be vanishing into the background.

This week’s episode brought in only 2.1 million viewers. This matches brought in by Melrose Place, the highly-touted and newly-revamped series that premiered just this season. The CW has already pulled the trigger on it’s brand-new The Beautiful Life, which was pulled from the schedule after only two episodes.

NBC needs some help, stat! Yesterday’s series premiere of Trauma did nothing for the Peacock network’s health on Mondays. The medical drama pulled in numbers smaller than last fall’s stinker, My Own Worst Enemy. By night’s end, ABC was on top with the viewers while FOX was 1st in the demos.

Monday Ratings: Kanye and Jay are Gold Diggers

Kanye West on Jay Leno

Curiosity about ‘s new program was already high before this week—but then the VMAs happened, and the Peacock network lucked out.

The debut of NBC’s new 10:00 show was watched by a whopping 17.7 million viewers. That’s nearly double the audience that turned in for Leno’s “goodbye.” (That May finale drew in 11.9 million). The figure bests any number from an NBC series produced last season, including the premiere of Conan O’Brien’s show (9.2 million) in June.

Blake Lively Wants Kate Moss on Gossip Girl

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip, Rumors,

Blake Lively in Kate Moss for TopshopAt an In Style/Tiffany & Co. party this past weekend, Blake Lively revealed that she would love for fashion icon Kate Moss to make a cameo on Gossip Girl.

Dressed in a Kate Moss for Topshop piece herself, Blake was also celebrating her birthday at the event. When asked which guest star she’d want the most for her birthday, she replied, “Kate Moss! She actually was supposed to come on last year, but it ended up not working out. I love Kate Moss.”

Did you hear that, Kate?

If the supermodel were to bless the small screen with her stylish presence, doing so would be her first. I’m not too sure how I feel about that—I enjoy wearing Kate’s clothes, not watching her lips move while she slinks around a set.
